Janelle Bostock

Growing up on a farm and within a tight-knit rural community, Janelle had a leadership sentiment and ‘have-a-go’ attitude instilled in her from an early age. Community supported each other always, be it in a drought, flood or when someone’s fences needed fixing. It was just the way of life. Her career across the corporate, public service, health and not-for-profit sector naturally fitted with her values and saw her rapidly elevated to leadership roles. Her strength and resilience stemming from her years on the land applied just as naturally to the business landscape. This was especially true during years of health challenges for her late husband, and most recently when she took on Women’s Network Australia as CEO. Janelle has injected her values and taken the network from strength to strength. Nothing short of an exceptional leader, Janelle’s story shows just how important the right values and the strength of a community are, especially for small businesses today…
